Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) would like to call for papers for APPLIED INFORMATICS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE 2024 (AiIC2024), which will be held from 2 to 3 October 2024 as a hybrid conference. We would appreciate it if you could forward the CFP [PDF version] [JPEG version] and this website to your colleagues and students. We look forward to seeing you at AiIC2024.
Applied Informatics International Conference (AilC) has had huge success in the past conferences. The AilC Premier (AilC2019) was held on a beautiful island, i.e. Penang, Malaysia. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, AilC2020 has been conducted as a virtual conference. Unfortunately, we had to call off AilC2021 due to vast uncertainties caused by the lockdown and the declaration of emergency in the country. Our last conference, AiIC2022 was held virtually for researchers to confer their research outcomes, open issues, and solutions surrounding the pandemic. Then, we give 2023 a gap year.
We hope that AiIC2024 could connect researchers and practitioners from academia as well as the industry to translate applied informatics research into plausible digital solutions. Applied Informatics is a multidisciplinary research field that could significantly impact the community and society through information systems and technology advancement. In this time, applied informatics research and technology have become more relevant and significant in leveraging the research updates related to artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies in applied informatics. Therefore, the conference committee has set the theme for AiIC2024 as Leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies in Applied Informatics.
