AiIC2024 marks the 4th international conference organized collaboratively by Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), its partner universities, and industry stakeholders. This conference serves as a pivotal platform for researchers and practitioners to delve into the latest advancements in applied informatics research and development.
This year, particular emphasis is placed on artificial intelligence (AI) and its associated emerging technologies, which have garnered significant attention. The global landscape has been transformed with the introduction of ChatGPT, the groundbreaking language model, and its accompanying innovations. Recognizing the profound impact of this trend on the global economy and industries, it is imperative to acknowledge the burgeoning momentum of AI.
As AI continues to gain traction, it heralds a potential paradigm shift in various industries, presenting both challenges and opportunities that demand immediate attention. As a distinguished public university in Malaysia, UPM takes pride in reinstating AiIC as the premier platform for stakeholders to converge, exchange ideas, present research findings, and address pertinent issues within the realm of applied informatics, amidst the burgeoning momentum of AI. In light of this, we are pleased to announce that the theme for AiIC2024 is "Leveraging on Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies in Applied Informatics."
Come on join us for AiIC2024 which will be taking place at The Everly Hotel, Putrajaya from October 2nd to 3rd, 2024. We welcome you to Putrajaya, Malaysia's captivating garden city and administrative capital! Nestled just south of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya is a masterfully planned city known for its lush greenery, stunning architecture, and tranquil lakes. Visitors can marvel at the impressive Putra Mosque, an architectural gem with its pink dome, or take a leisurely cruise on the Putrajaya Lake to enjoy panoramic city views. The majestic Perdana Putra, which houses the Prime Minister's office, and the striking Seri Wawasan Bridge are must-see landmarks. Beyond its architectural splendours, Putrajaya boasts beautiful parks and gardens, such as Taman Botani and Taman Wetland, offering serene escapes into nature. Mark your calendars: the submission deadline for papers is August 1st, 2024. Accepted papers will be featured in the conference proceedings or submitted for publication in a Scopus-indexed journal. Exceptional submissions will be considered for the Best Paper award, with winners receiving a special gift or voucher as recognition.
Furthermore, we are applying for CPD accreditation from MBOT, allowing participants who are MBOT professional technologists to claim CPD credits for this event.
