PROFESSOR DATO’ DR. SHAMALA K. SUBRAMANIAM
Universiti Putra Malaysia

Professor Dato’ Dr Shamala K. Subramaniam is a Professor in the Department of Communication Technology and Networks, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia.  She serves as the Chairman for Ph.D. and Master’s Thesis Supervisory Committee. She has a high number of cited publications in reputed high impact and indexed journals. She has authored Chapter (s) in book and lecture series. She has been recognized as a Member of Editorial Advisory Board in national and international journals. She has addressed keynote in several national and international conferences. She specializes in the area of wireless networks and distributed systems. She has secured a wide-spectrum of research grants encompassing from fundamental to applied.  Prof Shamala’s research in integrating wireless and distributed into sports has resulted in the first Games Management System developed in partnership with the National Sports Council.  The project known as iGames has evolved from being used domestically to cater one of the largest multi-sports Games to an international platform which was the South East Asia Games in Cambodia 2023.  Subsequently, another research project known as the IoSRocks© has been copyrighted and has been harnessed to become commercially viable.  She has founded the startup U Empower Sdn Bhd through the university program known as Innohub which is aimed at transcending research to the commercialization domain.  Prof Shamala is a Council Member of the Academy Professors of Malaysia.  Prof Shamala is very passionate about sports.  She represented the national women’s hockey team and has served in many national and international administrative sports positions.  These include the positions she held as the Vice President of the Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM), Board Member of the Asian Hockey Federation,  Deputy President of the Malaysian Hockey Confederation, Director of the National Olympic Academy, Board Member of the National Sports Institute, Director of the Women’s Division of the National Sports Council and Coordinator of the International Olympic Academy Youth Session in Greece. She also won the Olympic Council of Malaysia Women in Sports Award, was awarded the Asian Hockey Federation Order of Merit and the President’s Award and the Selangor State Sports Leadership Award. She is currently the President of the Research Empowered Sports Politics, Education, Communication and Technology of Malaysia abbreviated as RESPECT.  Prof Shamala was conferred the Darjah Setia Bakti Negeri Sembilan award by the Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz which carries the title “Dato”.

PROFESSOR DR. DENI DARMAWAN

Deni Darmawan as a Professor with the Highest Hi-Index, 101 and total citation 14868 on Google Scholar of all professors in the Indonesian Education University. In 2023 Reached 1st Academic Leader Rank At the University Level. From 2023 until 2025 Deni Darmawan as one of the Directors of Boards Orbicom-UNESCO. In 2021 until now has been ranked first in the field of Bio-communication Through ICT Implementation from ADScientific Index 2023 information can be accessed at https://www.adscientificindex.com/?con= & country_code =id . 2022 Get the first rank from a professor at UPI for the same. In the University Level he is as The First Rank in Educational Research Bio-communication and Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Big Data Digital Management. Currently, he is a Lecturer at the Department of Communication Science at the University of Education of Indonesia, with expertise in Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) the development of Communication Technology Bio-communication. Since 2013 in Mexico at the Orbicom Conference, he has contributed research papers, until now as an active Orbicom member. In 2021, 2022, and 2003, Deni Darmawan has the Highest Researcher and innovator Awards from the Ministry of Education Culture and Research Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. Since 2019, his expertise has been in Communication Technology for Education and Culture in developing information system technology networks and Long Distance Network Television Technology. Most of his international research is in the field of Information and Communication Technology for education. In 2018 he was selected as the First Rank Outstanding Lecturer in the Faculty of Education. Seventeen articles with reputable international publications indexed by Scopus have been published with Hi-4 in Scopus Preview-Elsevier publication. He has written 8 international books and 35 National books. Currently, Deni is one of the reviewers of the publisher Web of Science; Springer and Pablon Publisher. Now, Deni is also active as a reviewer for several international journals indexed by Scopus, including IJAER; SAGE; International Journal Computer Science; ASTES; iJIM; and John Wiley International Journal Publisher; Springer and Clarivate and Pablon. Currently, Deni manage and becomes a reviewer for several national journals: Journal of Human Relations « Gunahumas, » Educational Technology; Pedagogy; Journal of Instructional Technology; Development Communication; Communication Studies; Journal of Educational Communication Technology at the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia; Education Policy in The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia; Kwangsan Journal of Media Communication Technology at the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia has obtained the Rank of Indonesian Scientists at position 216 out of 626 Indonesian scientists. Currently, the Ministry of Education’s SINTA score is 1313.5. i10-Index on Google Scholar of 93. Scopus Document 20 and Scopus Index- 5. Famous research in 20182019, professor deni developed the Integrated Communication Laboratory Simulator Version 1.0 and Version 2.0 prototype. In 2021 Have the new Intellectual Property Rights Oriented Products about Virtual Community Digital Learning Nusantara (VCDLN) from the Ministry of Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. The prototype was presented at Tsuru University, Japan and Yunani.

DR. YEW CHOONG CHEW

Yew Choong Chew attained a Master's degree and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Information Science and Control Engineering from Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan. With over 20 years of experience in software development, large-scale transformations, data analytics, and data management across multiple industry segments—including Banking, Telecommunications, Software Services, Education, Research & Development, Publication, Advertisement, and Market Expansion Services—he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Yew Choong Chew is passionate about generating ideas, building practical products, and knowledge sharing. He is an enthusiast of new technologies, particularly those related to information retrieval, machine learning, and data science. As a technical leader of numerous high-impact projects, he has been awarded 4 patents, with another 3 pending. Additionally, he is a co-founder of DIBots IT Solutions Sdn. Bhd., co-founder of the Malaysian National Computer Confederation AI Special Interest Group (MNCC-AI SIG), and serves as an external supervisor for several local universities.

EMERITUS PROFESSOR DOO-HWAN BAE
School of Computing & Director, SW Education Center, KAIST


Doo-Hwan Bae is an Emeritus Professor at the School of Computing, KAIST(Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in South Korea.  He had served as the Head of the School of Computing, KAIST from 2012 to 2016. He received his BS degree in the Seoul National University, Korea in 1980 and his Ph.D. degree in Computer and Information Sciences in the University of Florida in 1992. Since 1995, he has been with the School of Computing, KAIST.  Currently, he is the director of the KAIST SW Education Center for promoting SW education in KAIST.

His research interests include model-based software engineering, process improvement, and quality-driven software development. Recently, his research focuses on modeling & verification of SoS(System of Systems). From 2002~2010, he directed the ITRC(Information Technology Research Center) Software Process Improvement Center, sponsored by Korean Ministry of Economy Knowledge. In 2015, he has been awarded with a “Star Lab”, a multi-year research project on Modeling and Verification of System of Systems, sponsored by the Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning. He has published over 180 journal and conference papers in Software Engineering.  He served as editorial board members including in the Journal of Systems and Software, and Information and Software Technology.   He also served as General Chair and Program Committee Chair in various international conferences such as APSEC2004, QSIC2009, COMPSAC2010.  He served as a Senior Associate Editor in the Journal of Systems and Software, and a General Co-Chair of ICSE2020 in Seoul. In 1999, he also established a venture company, SolutionLink, specialized in software engineering consulting and tool development and had served as a CEO for two years.

He received numerous awards for contribution to promotion of software research and development in Korea, including two Minister’s recognitions in 2003 and 2008, a Presidential recognition in 2011 and an Order of Merit for National Services.  He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering of Korea.

PROFESSOR Ts. DR. RUSLI HJ. ABDULLAH
UNIVERSITI PUTRA MALAYSIA

Professor Ts Dr. Rusli bin Haji Abdullah is a Senator member at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and currently attached to the Software Engineering and Information Systems Department. He is the former Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at UPM. He specializes in Software Engineering and Knowledge Management, having completed his PhD in Computer Science at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2006. He began his career as a lecturer in 1996 after serving as a System Analyst for 8 years at UPM.

Professor Rusli has published over 14 books and more than 160 journal papers, conference publications, and other academic research publications, especially in Scopus, with an h-index of 18. Additionally, his articles on emerging technologies have been featured in Malaysian newspapers like Berita Harian and Harian Metro, covering topics such as Smart Agriculture, the MySejahtera Application, the ChatGPT System application, and the Youth Digital Hub. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards, including Silver Medals for University Research Invention in 2008 and 2009, a Gold Medal for University Research Invention in 2005, and several Silver Medals for the Invention of Technology and Exposition I-TEX and the Malaysian Research Invention and Exposition (MTE). He has also received the University Excellent Services Certification for his outstanding lecturer services from 1999 to the present.

In his administrative roles, he has served as Head of Lab for the Institute of Software Development, UPM in 2007, Deputy Chief Information Officer for IDeC, UPM in early 2008, and Head of the Information Systems Department at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology by the end of 2008. He was the Deputy Dean of the KSKTM, UPM from 2009 to 2014, and the Deputy Dean of the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) at UPM from 2018 to 2019. Most recently, he served as the Dean of FSKTM, UPM from 2019 to 2021.

Professor Rusli's extensive experience has made him a keynote speaker at numerous conferences, including the International Putra InnoCreative in Teaching and Learning (i-PicTL 2021), the International Symposium of Environmental and Occupational Health (ISEOH 2020), the International Webinar on Digital Seminar Series #3 (2020), the First International Conference on Computer Science and Its Application in Agriculture (ICOSICA 2020), the Knowledge Management International Conference (KMICE 2018), the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Evolutionary Algorithms in Engineering Systems (ICAEES-2014) at Noorul Islam University in India, the 12th WSEAS International Conference on Software Engineering, Parallel and Distributed Systems (SEPAD’13) at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, and the Malaysia Software Engineering Conference (MySEC 2013). He has also been a part of the Technical Advisory Group of the UPM Student Information System from 2009 to 2012 and is currently a committee member of the Malaysia Software Engineering Interest Group (MySIG), a position he has held since 2007.

Throughout his service, he has received over 12 research and collaboration grants as a principal investigator (PI) at both the national level, from organisations like MOHE, MOSTI, and MDeC, and the international level, from institutions such as universities in Japan. He has also undertaken consultation tasks for international universities and local industries, including evaluating staff for promotion at Saudi Arabian universities and working with the Malaysian IT Development Council (MDeC). In addition, he has served on journal editorial boards and as a journal reviewer at national and international levels. He has also chaired and been a committee member for many conferences at the national and international levels.
